Then and Now (photos above) Photos of Christy - Then (left) - Christy is shown Horseback Riding as a child when she attended Hiram House Summer Camp. Now (right) – Christy is shown with current Summer Day Campers at the Hiram House Camp Double H Ranch Horseback Riding Center.

Former Hiram House Summer Day Camper, Christine “Christy” Welder, of Chagrin Falls, loved camp so much she attended every summer since she was 6 yrs old. Now a teenager, Christy has been volunteering all summer at the Hiram House Camp Double H Ranch Horseback Riding Center and Farmstead. She assists with care of the camp’s stable of eleven horses, feeding, grooming and cleaning stalls. Thanks Christy!

Christy is one of many generations of former campers and staff members who continue to remain involved in supporting Hiram House over the years and in helping to give back their positive camp experiences to new generations of campers. Thanks to them All!

As Summer Camp winds down and we look ahead to autumn fun at camp, we hope to see many more of our new and returning “Happy Campers” as we welcome our fall School Camps, Retreat Groups and Pumpkin Festival visitors!  Happy Trails until then!

Now (photo below)  - Christy is shown with Brent Grundke, Double H Ranch Manager, at the Hiram House Horseback Riding Center.
